Why parents love it
- Animated mobile evite included, a moving evite that grabs attention in a group text
- Edit it tonight from your phone in the free Canva app, no laptop or print shop appointment needed
- One purchase, two versions: the printable card for the party table and the digital evite for the group chat
- A pun guests remember: the headline gets a laugh before anyone reads the date, and the soft pastel watercolor keeps it sweet enough for a toddler party without looking loud or babyish
- Reuse with no expiration for the dessert table sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style
Perfect for
- Backyard puppy party: two year olds in paper party hats, a sandbox, and the family dog wandering through. Print the card for the gift table and text the evite to the neighbors
- Dog park celebration: meet at the local dog park for cake and bubbles. The JPG drops straight into the group chat with the park address
- The little dog lover: for the toddler who points at every pup on the street, this card turns that obsession into the whole party theme
- Small family get together: grandparents, cousins and a cake shaped like a bone. Print a few at home on cardstock and hand them out
- Daycare or playgroup party: send the animated evite to the class parents so it stands out in a busy group chat
✦ good to know
Tiny questions.
Easy answers.
The little things parents ask right before hitting buy. Still stuck? We’re one Etsy message away.
Ask on Etsy ↗Can I change the age on this invitation?
The TWO in the headline is drawn into the artwork as part of the pun, so this design is made for a 2nd birthday and the age stays as shown. The name, date, time, address and RSVP lines are all editable in Canva.
Does this design work for a boy or a girl?
Yes. The peach, sage, butter yellow and soft blue palette sits right in the middle, so it suits a boy, a girl, or two siblings sharing the day. The sample name is only a placeholder, so once you type your child's name it reads as theirs.
Can I change the two let the dogs out birthday invitation colors to match my party?
Yes. The peach orange, sage green, butter yellow and soft blue colors, the watercolor puppies, and every text color are editable in Canva, so you can warm it up or keep it soft.
Does the animated mobile evite really move?
Yes. The evite version has gentle motion that plays when your guests open it on their phone, which is what makes it stand out in a busy group text. You send it as a link or video through text, WhatsApp, or email, and there is nothing for your guests to download.
Can I edit this invitation on my phone?
Yes. Basic phone editing is supported through the free Canva app, so you can type the name, the date, and the address right from your phone tonight. A tablet or computer gives you a bit more room, but a phone is enough to finish and send it.
Do I need to pay for Canva or design software?
No. The template opens in a free Canva account and there is nothing to install. Everything you need to change the wording and colors works on the free plan.
How do I print the invitation once it is done?
Download the print ready PDF with crop marks and print at home on cardstock, use a local print shop, or upload to an online printer. The file is sized 5x7 inches, and the JPG is best for texting or posting the invitation digitally.
Will I get a physical invitation in the mail?
No. This is a digital template for personal use only and no physical item will be shipped. You receive editable files instantly so you can print or send them yourself the same day.
Can I reuse this for other party items?
Yes. There is no expiration on your edits and downloads, so you can reopen the template for a matching welcome sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same puppy style.
keep the party going
