Why parents love it
- Animated mobile evite included, a moving evite that grabs attention in a group text when most editable invitations only hand you a flat picture
- Edit it tonight from your phone in the free Canva app, no laptop or print shop appointment
- One purchase, two versions: the printable card for the party table and the digital evite for the group chat
- Cute first, spooky second: groovy retro lettering, a pink checkerboard and smiling ghosts keep it sweet for little guests, so it says Halloween party, not haunted house
- Reuse with no expiration for the dessert table sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style
Perfect for
- A costume birthday party in the backyard the weekend before Halloween: add costumes welcome under the time and let the ghosts do the rest
- A pink themed trick or treat meetup before the neighborhood walk, with the evite sent to the street group chat so everyone meets at your porch
- A slumber party with scary movies that are not actually scary, with a few printed copies handed out at school pickup
- A classroom Halloween birthday treat day: text the JPG to the room parent so the whole class knows the plan
- A big sister and little sister party in late October: duplicate the page in Canva and make one card for each birthday girl
✦ good to know
Tiny questions.
Easy answers.
The little things parents ask right before hitting buy. Still stuck? We’re one Etsy message away.
Ask on Etsy ↗Will this be too scary for younger kids?
No. Every character is smiling, from the waving ghosts to the black cat in the witch hat, and there are no skeletons, blood or creepy faces anywhere. It suits toddlers through tweens, and parents of little guests will not think twice about it.
The sample says 7th birthday. Can I use it for a different age?
Yes. The name and age line is editable, so you can change it to 4th, 10th or any age you need. The same card works for a Halloween birthday of any age, just type the new number in Canva.
Can I change the pink spooky birthday invitation colors to match my party?
Yes. The pink, orange and black colors, the ghosts, and every text color are editable in Canva, so you can warm it up or keep it soft.
Does the animated mobile evite really move?
Yes. The evite version has gentle motion that plays when your guests open it on their phone, which is what makes it stand out in a busy group text. You send it as a link or video through text, WhatsApp, or email, and there is nothing for your guests to download.
Can I edit this invitation on my phone?
Yes. Basic phone editing is supported through the free Canva app, so you can type the name, the date, and the address right from your phone tonight. A tablet or computer gives you a bit more room, but a phone is enough to finish and send it.
Do I need to pay for Canva or design software?
No. The template opens in a free Canva account and there is nothing to install. Everything you need to change the wording and colors works on the free plan.
How do I print the invitation once it is done?
Download the print ready PDF with crop marks and print at home on cardstock, use a local print shop, or upload to an online printer. The file is sized 5x7 inches, and the JPG is best for texting or posting the invitation digitally.
Will I get a physical invitation in the mail?
No. This is a digital template for personal use only and no physical item will be shipped. You receive editable files instantly so you can print or send them yourself the same day.
Can I reuse this for other party items?
Yes. There is no expiration on your edits and downloads, so you can reopen the template for a matching welcome sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style.
