Why parents love it
- Edit it tonight from your phone. You do not need a laptop or a print shop appointment. Type your details in the free Canva app and you have a finished dinosaur invite in minutes.
- A T-Rex with somewhere to be. Most three rex birthday cards show a dinosaur standing still and roaring. This one is mid ride on a pink scooter, cheeks pink, grin wide, party hat on, which is exactly how a three year old feels about their own party.
- Details that are easy to read. The white background and the clean grey lettering keep the day, time, and address clear, so grandparents can read this dinosaur birthday invitation at a glance and nobody texts you to ask where the party is.
Perfect for
- Backyard T Rex party: set up a sandbox dino dig and a feed the T-Rex bean bag toss, then send this card three weeks ahead so friends can save the date.
- Daycare or preschool class: print a stack on white cardstock and tuck one in each cubby, so every little dinosaur toddler in the room gets a three rex invitation of their own.
- Park playdate party: ask guests to bring their bikes and scooters to match the card, and let the kids stomp chomp roar around the path before cake.
- Family dino birthday: text the JPG to grandparents and cousins who live far away, so they get the same boy 3rd birthday invite as the friends next door.

Ask on Etsy ↗Is there a Three Rex Birthday Invitation Canva template?
Yes, this is one. It's a 5x7 editable Canva template that opens in a free Canva account. You change the name line, the stomp and roar line, the day, date, time, address and RSVP. The watercolor T Rex, his pink scooter and the 3 balloon stay as drawn.
What are some ideas for a 3-Rex birthday party?
A backyard T Rex party works well with this card: set up a sandbox dino dig and a feed the T-Rex bean bag toss. Or host a park playdate and ask guests to bring their bikes and scooters to match the T Rex on his scooter. Send the invite about three weeks ahead so friends can save the date.
What's good dinosaur birthday invitation wording?
The card already says "Join us to stomp, chomp, & roar!" under the art, and that line is editable. Keep the rest short, like "Our little dino is scooting into three. Come party with [Name]." Then add the day, date, time, address and RSVP in Canva.
Can I send dinosaur birthday invitations online?
Yes. Download the Three-Rex card as a JPG and send it by text, WhatsApp or email. Grandparents and cousins who live far away get the same invite as the friends next door. You'll still have the print ready PDF for the daycare cubbies.
Can I change the age on this three rex invitation?
No. The 3 balloon is drawn into the artwork and the whole card is built around the Three-Rex joke, so this design is made for a 3rd birthday only. The name, date, time, address and RSVP line are all yours to change.
Will this boy dino party invite work for a girl too?
Yes. The green T-Rex, the pink scooter and the teal party hat suit any three year old, so just type in her name instead of his. The artwork colors don't change, so it works best if you like the green, teal and pink look.
