Why parents love it
- A softer look than the rest. Most Christmas pajama invitations lean on loud clip art and busy layouts. These hand painted watercolor tree and bow PJs in red and green look calm on a first birthday table, and the same card works for a watercolor slumber party when she is older.
- Every word is yours. The heading, name, age and party details are all editable, so one Christmas invitation covers a Christmas birthday, a family Christmas PJ party, or a slumber party invite.
- Reuse with no expiration. Edit it again for the cocoa bar sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style.
Perfect for
- A winter birthday in December: the family in matching pajamas, a cocoa bar, and the 1st birthday girl in her own tree print PJs.
- A girl slumber party: change "First Birthday" to "10th Birthday", add drop off and pick up times, and send it to her friends.
- A cozy Christmas Eve pajama night: grandparents and cousins over for cookies, a holiday movie, and PJ photos by the tree.
- A cozy winter sleepover over school break: sleeping bags, hot cocoa, and a cozy holiday sleepover for her closest friends.
- A holiday party invite for a playgroup: hand out the printable invitation at pickup for a daytime pajama party with crafts and cocoa.
✦ good to know
Tiny questions.
Easy answers.
The little things parents ask right before hitting buy. Still stuck? We’re one Etsy message away.
Ask on Etsy ↗Can I use this Christmas pajama party invite for an older girl's sleepover instead of a first birthday?
Yes. "First Birthday" is editable text, so you can type 8th Birthday, 10th Birthday, or simply Sleepover. Add drop off and pick up times, and the watercolor PJs card becomes a Christmas sleepover invitation for any age. It's the same artwork either way.
What should guests wear to a Christmas PJ party?
Pajamas. The card already says Christmas Pajama Party in big red and green letters, so guests know before they read the details. Add a short line under them, such as "matching family pajamas welcome", if you'd like to say more.
Can I change the Christmas pajama party invite colors to match my party?
Yes for the text. Every text color and font is editable in Canva, so you can deepen the red or soften the green. The watercolor pajamas, ornaments, slippers and cocoa are painted artwork, so they keep their red and green Christmas tones.
Do I need to pay for Canva or design software?
No. This Christmas pajama party invite opens in a free Canva account, and there's nothing to install. Changing the wording and the text colors works on the free plan, and you can do the basics from your phone.
keep the party going
